Recorded live on the Rosebud Reservation in 1977, this collection of traditional Lakota pow-wow songs is beautifully sung by one of the greatest groups of Native American voices, the Porcupine Singers. Known for their unique performance of intertribal as well as traditional Lakota songs, the Porcupine Singers have been regarded as one of the most influential pow-wow groups.

  3. This is great traditional music with songs from very good Lakota singers. My only wish is that the lyrics were written using the standard Lakota spelling as it is used in the New Lakota Dictionary.

  4. I love this album ! Its the best album of Lakota songs ! I really like native american songs like this I know many indians songs but on this album are the best of them … My favourite is Little Big Horn Battle song because it have a wonderful spirit… Its something like in Dances with Woolfs but this is better… So if you really like indians music buy it !!!
