Product Description
Capturing the purity of children through photos has been around longer than one might think. This picture, taken by Edward Curtis in 1906, depicts innocence in its truest form. In fact, the portrait of this young Umatilla girl was named, InnocenceUmatilla. What is obtained most eloquently here is the vulnerability of this Native American girl. Indian melancholy interested Curtis to a great extent, and can be seen through this childs somber eyes and reserved face.
